The Nenana Wellness Coalition is an alliance of representatives from various organizations, government agencies, community groups and individuals that meets weekly to discuss and help implement plans for improving the wellness and quality of life in Nenana
We had Laura Hokenson, Bonnie Reed, Rosemary Allen, Magen Spencer. We enjoyed chicken soup, cheese with crackers and assorted nuts.

Envisioning Wellness: Next week Kristi Dugan will doing a presentation on traumatic brain injury, depression, anxiety.
Dancing in the Streets will be September 13, 2019 starting at 5pm.

UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Bonnie: Back to school pack back blessing at the St. Marks church at 11am this upcoming Sunday at the regular service.
August 15 is the first day of school!
The ice cream social is 5-6:30pm on the 15th.
The city assembly meeting was yesterday. They passed the bill to raise of rates of sewer and water to $56.50 for each water and sewer, plus 4% city taxes. It will come to about $117 per month.
Bonnie Reed’s birthday party is on Saturday the 17th at her house!!
Debbie and Endel Moore is having a leaving the community so they are having a goodbye party on Sunday at 3:00pm.
Rosemary: The school got the eligibility provision so every student will now get a free breakfast and lunch. School starts at 7:40am and ends at 3:15pm.
Laura: Will be leaving for the next couple weeks. They will be back after labor day. They are going to go see family and go to a wedding.
Magen: No updates
