They look for programs to deal with trash, recycling, clean-up, hazardous waste and how to handle things such as oil spills and other chemicals, all around job safety, and doing things like successfully empting trashed cars for pick up and disposal. There are a few upcoming projects this summer and building relationship with the city to work on solution involving trash pick-up. The position is federally funded through EPA and that is also who they report to. Position also looks to create new ideas for the disposal of trash, chemicals, and other materials that could be harmful to environment.
