Introduction of Guests
Health Fair was on the agenda. The health fair will be March 24, 2018. The blood draws will start at 8am and the exhibits will start at 9am. Tim brought up asking someone to do exercise drills every 30 minutes again. They have done Zumba and Yoga in the past and it was successful. The WIN members are interested in seeing booths about immunizations that adults need and health insurance information. There was a traditional healer that came to Nenana a couple weekends ago and the WIN members are curious to see if she would be interested in having an exhibit at the health fair. Her name is Audrey. The health fair committee would also like to ask the Mary C Demientieff clinic to see if they would also do an exhibit showing all the health care related things they can do. Magen brought up safety magnets that was previously discussed at another date. These magnets would have all emergency numbers on them pertaining to Nenana.
Envisioning Wellness was added on the agenda. Derek and Magen are scheduled to do a presentation on the ACES study September 11, 2018 and Rosemary will have a tentative date for a wellness meeting on August 14, 2018.
