SPIRITUAL MOMENT: Bonnie Reed read the wellness thought.
PRESENTATION OF AGENDA AND CALL FOR MODIFICATIONS: Nothing Added
MINUTES: The minutes generated last week were posted at the WIN link at www.railbelt.org and submitted electronically to the WIN e-list.
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS: None
Choose Respect: Update by Maryellen – There is not date yet, but looking at last week of March. Along with the PINK group there are a few other high school kids that would like to start planning the event once they can get together for a meeting. Some ideas are: showing one of two movies (or both) a documentary on resilience or the movie Paper Tigers; having the event over two days, but still having the assembly in the gym, walk, and dinner; having both an adult and student speaker; among others. More to follow.
Health Fair: Update by Laura – About the same place as last week, sending out begging letters and getting a timeline together of when tasks need to be accomplished. Looking for anyone who is interested in being on a Health Fair planning committee…Anyone? Anyone?
|WELLNESS THOUGHT: As you press on for justice, be sure to move with dignity and discipline, using only the weapon of love.
– Martin Luther King Jr.
