The Nenana Wellness Coalition is an alliance of representatives from various organizations, government agencies, community groups and individuals that meets weekly to discuss, evaluate, coordinate, consolidate, celebrate, masticate and help implement plans for improving the wellness and quality of life in Nenana Alaska.
We had 4 participants today, Magen Spencer, Bonnie Reed, Jeannie Bennett and Jim Hautala. We enjoyed homemade chicken noodle soup, cheese and crackers, and assorted nuts.

Health Fair was added, Recycling in Nenana was taken off.

SPEAKERS/TOPICS:
The health fair was added to the agenda. Jeannie gave us an update on how it is going so far. The wheel chair obstacle course is a go! So participants have the ability to do an obstacle course while maneuvering in a wheel chair. All members who are wanting to have an exhibit need to fill out an exhibit form online. UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Bonnie:
March 7th and 8th is the science fair for the school
March 8th is the school board meeting at 6:30 in the school
March 9th is the City Council meeting at 6:30 in the Senior Center
March 9th is the Central Yukon Resource Management Plan/ Environmental Impact Statement Public Meeting at the Civic Center at 6:00pm
March 24th is the free cycle at the Civic Center at 5:30pm. The main dish is baked potatoes! It is a potluck so people are encouraged to bring a dish.
Magen: The Choose Respect youth group will be meeting at the school March 9, 2017 at 3:00pm.
